Fish Report- July 20

INSHORE

STRIPED BASS

SW Ledge, North Rip, SE Light, Pt Judith and South Shore are great striper grounds.  North Rip diamond jigging, other locations eels durning nite and trolling wire and umbrella rigs during the day.

SCUP & SEABASS

Large scup and seabass along rocky bottom areas off Center Wall and working down Matunuck and Green Hill Beaches.

FLUKE

Fluke fishing along the south shore from the Center Wall, Nebraska Shoals and Green Hill have all been productive.  Anglers fishing 60-70 feet. Block Island's ClayHead has had best results.

OFFSHORE

BLUEFIN TUNA

Fairway Buoy, Acid Barge, and Gully have all produced fish for the last 3 days, all on the troll, however there seems to be enough fish that jigging may work.  Fish range from 30- 100lbs.

SHARKS

Gully and Suffix have had consistant shark fishing, mostly blues with a few Threshers and Makos mixed in.

CANYON

West Atlantis still most productive yellowfin fishing with good numbers on the daytime troll.
